Are there guidelines for sending in my images to Gulf Coast Image Design?

When a client has decided to go through with a project, we offer multiple avenues for clients to send their images.

Option 1: You scan your images yourself at a minimum of 300dpi and send us the scan(s).

Option 2: You mail your images directly to us. Your original photos will be mailed back to you with signature confirmation.

Are there limitations to the content that clients can send in?

At Gulf Coast Image Design, we pride ourselves on being positive, open-minded and forward-thinking.

We will not accept any projects or imagery that promote racism, sexism, or extreme violence. However, historical images are exempt – We do not believe in shirking from history, even if unpleasant!

What does the timeline of a project look like from start to finish?

We do our best to keep the process as easy as possible.

  1. Get a quote: Contact us today about your project and let us give you a FREE consultation.
  2. Sign work contract, pay project deposit: All projects must:
    (a) have a job contract signed and
    (b) must pay 1/2 of the invoice up front as a non-refundable deposit before we will begin working on your project.
  3. Send in your photos: Either per e-mail, DropBox, or snail mail. Whatever works best for you!
  4. Wait for project completion.
  5. Receive watermarked projects for customer approval: We will send you an e-mail with login information for your personal client portal in order to proof your images. Be sure to check your spam folder in case you cannot find the registration e-mail we sent you!
  6. If approved, pay for the project: You will be invoiced for the remainder of your bill, which must be paid within 7 days of issuance. In cases of non-payment, you will be permanently blacklisted and you will not receive the final, non-watermarked images until your bill is paid.
  7. Receive your images: Your final images (as well as any physical photographs sent to us) will be sent to you 1-2 business days after your payment successfully processes. All raw photographs are mailed back to the client with signature confirmation.
What file type do you send final projects in?

If your project has special requirements, such as being in a .PDF file, we can accomodate to your needs. All projects with multiple files are sent back to you within a .ZIP file for ease of transfer. Please let us know if you require special file types for your images.

How will I receive my finished projects?

Finished projects can be either downloaded through your client portal as a .ZIP file, or sent to you through DropBox. If you have given us raw photographs for us to scan, we will mail these back to you with signature confirmation. If you have another preferred method of receiving your final pictures, please let us know in advance.

What forms of payment are accepted?

With the advent of new technologies, we seek to make the payment process as easy as possible. Unless otherwise requested from a client, we use e-mail-based Square Invoices for our payment processing. However, per customer request, we also accept cash and Google Wallet. If you are a PayPal user, please let us know in advance.

Due to high risk for fraud and abuse, we cannot accept checks. We thank you in advance for your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
